What is Galen Myotherapy and how I can help your dog
Galen Myotherapy is Internationally recognised with training centres in several countries. One of its driving principles is giving a dog choice, never using restraint, always treating on the floor to make your dog most comfortable and gives autonomy during their own treatment.
Galen Myotherapy uses Swedish massage and soft tissue techniques to target muscular imbalances to address your dog’s posture and mobility.
We understand anatomy and movement, how adaptations take place and how behaviour can alter when a dog’s behaviour when the body is compromised. This is why we address the dog as a whole and not just the cause.
I treat in your home where your dog is relaxed thus gaining the most benefit from each treatment. As I dog owner, I too would love to be involved and help my dog as much as possible therefore will involve you throughout the treatment plan imparting knowledge, showing you massage techniques to use. All sizes and breeds of dogs can be treated as long as they are over 3 months old.
